Exactly one year ago today, Ben Brown and Tom Crow joined forces to open this firm.

Since opening our doors, we’ve worked over 200 claims, negotiated for more than $15 million in additional claim payments, organized an industry meeting with TDI regulators, taught at seminars, and continue to bring Texas Public Adjusters together!

This was all accomplished by just our two founders and their public adjusting protege, Chase Lee Henton.

Given his impact on our firm’s success, it seems only fitting we use today to announce Chase Lee Henton as the newest Managing Partner of Iron Crow Consulting!

Congratulations, and we can’t wait to see how you help lead our firm’s vision for the future!

TDI Meet and Greet, Round 2!

The prior meeting on January 16th was cancelled due to the freeze event, and has been moved to February 2nd, 2024, from 9AM-11:30AM

We invite everyone interested to join us and show a united front. Our plan is not to ambush, but to show interest, explain concerns, and coordinate on a singular voice with specific questions and topics brought to TDI’s attention.

Our team works a lot of early mornings and late nights. Tonight is one of those days.

We say this, most certainly not as a bragging point, but as a reference to the diligence and time commitment required with what we do.

We spend a lot of time away from our own kids, spouses, friends, and loved ones all for the sake of others and their livlihoods.

Someone has to stand up for the insured. It’s a large burden and weight for us as public adjusters, but the joy we get out of helping people that are in desperate times, is incomparable to anything else.

Thank you to our loved ones for understanding the level of responsibility that comes with our careers. Without them, our operations would be impossible.

Attention all Texas PAs:

We are developing a project that could create a large scale impact industry wide in favor of insureds.

If you have a file that meets the following criteria, please reach out to us via PM.

- Mercury Insurance
- Non-complex facts of loss
- Initial denial, or under payment, by Mercury
- Initial decision overturned, and additional payment made after initial delay.
- Sworn Proof of Loss properly submitted on file, in accordance with the policy.
- If these additional payments total more than $50,000, that is ideal.
- That payment could be due to an appraisal award, or simple negotiation on your part. However, if part of a release then it wouldn’t be applicable to this project.
- All work related to claim has been completed by insured, including submission of CoC and depreciation recovered fully. No outstanding payments on file.
- DOL, and last payment, are both within the last two years.

We’re proud to announce that Tom Crow and Ben Brown have decided to join their companies (CrowCo and Iron Ladder Consulting) and form the newest Public Adjusting Firm in the DFW area, Iron Crow Consulting!

We plan to utilize their diverse backgrounds to adjust claims with a very different methodology than what is typically held as the mainstream in our industry.
