Read this and change your life: ā€œTake responsibility for your own happiness. When you hold other people responsible for your happiness, you put all the pressure on them and you set yourself up for guaranteed big disappointment. The thinking works like this: 'If only they were different, I'd be happy. They must change. Then, you are left with that helpless, "it's their fault" feeling.
Remember: How you feel is entirely in your control, and no one else's.
Life changes and you become a strong, more loving, independent person,

"Greatness is not achieved by accumulating vast sums of money, broad fame, or great power in government. When you help someone -- in one of a thousand possible ways -- you help the world. Kindness costs nothing, yet it is priceless."-- Warren Buffett
This was the quote in Steve Gilbert's "Win Your Day."
In his story today, he tells how he & his wife gave an old car to a college student and it changed ... all of their lives. We don't have to give away something that costs money, it could be a kind word, or letting someone merge in traffic, or a sincere smile.
Go let your light shine today and you will change the world! 🌟

To make you smile today!😁

Socially Savvy Program
Day Three:
A sixth grader who attended the day before came to ask if she could take the class again. The teacher said no the class was full. So I asked what she liked most about the class.

Her answer: The Breadsticks! šŸ˜‚
Oh & also the buffet etiquette rule! So I only have to wait for one more person to sit back down at my table before I can start eating. 😁

Me: Hold on, I’ll get you a breadstick to go. šŸ„–
