Here's the pattern I see in schools all the time: strong start, real momentum, genuine enthusiasm from leadership, and then six months later something has quietly changed. Not a dramatic failure. Just drift.

New priorities moved in. Monitoring faded out. And the moves that were supposed to be non-negotiable turned out not to be, because nobody ever wrote them down in a way that could actually be protected.

The hard truth: if you can't name the active ingredients of your initiative, the 3-5 specific observable things that must happen consistently for it to work, you can't protect them when the pressure comes. And the pressure always comes.

The fix isn't more intensity at launch. It's more clarity before you drift.
