Happy Sunday!

We hope you all are enjoying your Labor Day holiday weekend.

Cheryl & I spent Saturday touring Blowing Rock, Boone & West Jefferson. The weather was amazing. A cool 78 degrees with a stray thunderstorm.

If you have never visited West Jefferson,NC you should go! Beautiful views of the mountains & so many tree farms. They have a “Hallmark” little town with the cutest shops and restaurants. Perfect for walking!

Our top retirement destination at the moment!

Happy Saturday to all of our MISA auction friends & family.

We had a fun day picking apples & flowers at one of our favorite apple orchards with Brittany’s crew then Mark & I went on a roadtrip to Flat Rock, Chimney Rock & Lake Lure.

We are the hunt for a vacation/ retirement destination… coming soon! 😬

Mark likes the mountains & I like the beach.

So we officially have started our search and had so much fun….. to be continued. 😉

Still sad to see so much of the devastation remaining from the flood almost 2 years ago.

We saw some new progress in the towns but there is still so much to do. 🙏🏻
