Do you have enough life insurance coverage? Here is a formula you can use to make sure you and your family are protected. Its called the D.I.M.E. Method. It covers four categories you should take into consideration whenever purchasing a policy.

Income
Mortgage
Education

Debt- Taking into account all of your outstanding debts can sheild your loved ones from the burden of repaying debts. Add up your credit card, student loans, personal debts, auto loans, and anything else that falls into this category minus your mortgage.

Income- Not only will your family be going through a rough time dealing with the grief of your passing, but they could also experience financial hardship if you’re one of the breadwinners. You’ll calculate your annual income and multiply it for a number of years you think it will take your family to get back on their feet. (3,5,7 years)

Mortgage- Real estate is a key component of wealth building, but its also necessary for your family to have a statble place to live while recovering from the loss of their loved one. So calculate your remaining mortgage and factor that into your life insurance coverage amount.

Education- This part applies to parents or guardians who want to make sure their kids future education cost are taken care of such as tuition, room and board, books, tutoring, etc. If you’re not a parent maybe you want to consider a younger sibling, niece or nephew, or godchild.

Many fast-food workers in California are at risk of losing their jobs as the new minimum wage laws go into effect. The law, which passed in September 2023, requires fast-food chains with 60 or more locations nationwide to pay workers $20 an hour. Several companies, like Chipotle and Panera Bread, have already mentioned increasing their prices to pass the cost on to customers.

A recent report by shows how much a single person needs to make to live comfortably in 99 major U.S. Cities, and the numbers have made quite the jump from 2023. Let's look at San Francisco, for instance. It has always been expensive, but we saw the costs for a single person jump from $84K to $120K!

As things currently stand, the national average income which is around $60K means that most people residing in major metros are not living comfortably.

Currently AT&T does not have an answer for the cause of the outages or any timeline for when service will be restored.
