Retirement: With almost 30 years in the field of art conservation it is now time to pull down the shades and close up the studio. It has been a wonderful experience to work with so many truly dedicated people and on so many amazing conservation projects.

Studio Six Art Conservation is retiring. Stephanie and I opened Studio Six in February 2009 with the aim of providing art conservation services to Texas historic museums, private collectors and institutions. It has been a rewarding path with so many great people and wonderful projects. Thank you to everyone we have had the pleasure of working with.

And there is still so much work still to do here in Texas. I encourage this new generation of art students to consider going into art conservation. You can't beat the satisfaction found in helping save history.
