Healthy age-related skin changes are inevitable and include thinning, sagging, wrinkling and the appearance of age spots, broken blood vessels and areas of dryness.

First Americans learned it from Japanese. What you asked? To work themself to death of course. Japanese even have a word for death by overworking. “Karoshi”. Then Americans have there 120% and barely know their own children. And then. And then people started to notice it is not an Americans and Japanies topping the charts of happiest people on Earth. Nope that would be all Scandinavians and lately Dutch. Strangely these languages do not have a word for dying of overwork. But they have lots of terms for taking a break, making things cozy and in the case of Dutchmen - for doing “nothing” . So do not look to Americans for your work home ratio. You might just found yourself in the local newspaper (on line) as a victim of Karoshi 🤔😻

How trip to Paris changed my make up routine and saved me from plastic surgery (at least for another year 😺)
I spent this past New Year in Paris. The morning of New Years Eve dawned and I woke up very ill. And the shock I got in the bathroom did not help. One of my eyes was dark red and swollen. I looked like an extra from Fight Club.
Since I was not prepared for such an extreme eventuality off we went to a Bon Marche to “fix” it. With very little French I pantomimed to the hundreds of cosmetic brands representatives that I need some camouflage and saw them turn around in horror suggesting ER or plastic surgery. Finally I happened on Estee Lauder counter with Asian make up artis with face like porcelain doll. She did laugh for the first few minutes but then she sat me down brought a chair and beer for my male companion (this is Europe mi amis) took a deep breath and close look at me. And then she removed all make up from my face, noting I should stop wearing foundation all together and applied her own primer and Estée Lauder Double Wear concealer and almost managed to hide my “disfigurement”
And from this moment forward I reduced my make up to Stila One Step (correct- medium) and Estée Lauder Double Wear concealer.
Viva la Paris!
