Meet the Team: Jose Rodriguez

Jose has been part of the Museum Arts team for three and a half years, bringing decades of experience, technical knowledge, and craftsmanship to his role as a CAD Operator and Production Manager.

Jose takes a designer’s initial concept and transforms it into a detailed, buildable model for our production team. He also creates floor plans using precise field measurements, helping ensure that each component is accurately designed and ready for fabrication and installation. His work provides an important bridge between the creative vision and the finished exhibit.

With 26 years of experience in custom woodwork and cabinetry, Jose brings an incredible depth of knowledge to every project. He was drawn to Museum Arts because the work is never the same—from straightforward assignments to highly complex builds, every project offers a new opportunity to think creatively and solve problems.

What Jose enjoys most about his role is working alongside our friendly team and taking on projects that continually challenge his creativity. His ability to combine practical experience with technical precision makes him an essential part of our design and production process.

Jose describes himself as **focused, reliable, and hardworking**—qualities reflected in the care and dedication he brings to his work each day.

Meet the Team: Logan Winston Smith

Logan has been part of the Museum Arts team for three years, bringing focus, creativity, and technical skill to his role as a CNC Operator.

Logan creates the code that guides our CNC machine and operates the equipment used to precisely cut and shape components for our exhibits. His work plays an important role in transforming digital designs into the physical pieces that help bring each project to life. What he enjoys most about his job is being able to focus completely on the CNC machine and get locked in on the work in front of him.

Logan joined Museum Arts because he saw an opportunity to learn the CNC process and develop a valuable new skill. Since then, he has continued to grow in his role while contributing to the quality and craftsmanship behind our projects.

Outside of work, Logan enjoys reading the Bible and writing science-fiction and fantasy novels. His favorite movie is *The Wild Robot*, and his favorite meal is Taco Bell—yes, really! A blueberry muffin and an energy drink are guaranteed to make his day a little better.

A fun fact about Logan is that he considers himself “really awkward.” He describes himself as **hardcore, introverted, and a storyteller**, which is a fitting combination for someone who enjoys both detailed technical work and creating imaginative new worlds.

His humorous advice to someone starting in his role is: **“If the CNC machine starts letting out a high-pitch noise…run for your life!”**

Meet the Team: Kenny Price

Kenny has been part of the Museum Arts team for seven years, bringing reliability, adaptability, and dedication to his role as an Installer.

Kenny installs and assembles exhibit components on-site, carefully ensuring that everything is safe, secure, and built to last. He enjoys the variety of projects he gets to work on and the rewarding experience of seeing each finished exhibit come to life.

Kenny joined Museum Arts because he wanted to work for a company that values quality craftsmanship and takes pride in everything it creates. Those same values are reflected in the care, skill, and attention to detail he brings to every installation.

Outside of work, Kenny enjoys hiking and spending time outdoors. A fun fact many people may not know about him is that he has climbed the Grand Canyon! He also enjoys *The Shawshank Redemption*, a good steak, coffee, and great conversation. Kenny is an early bird who prefers the mountains and will usually choose something salty over something sweet.

Kenny describes himself as **reliable, adaptable, and dedicated**—three qualities that make him an important part of our team.

Meet the Team: Gus Samuelson

Gus has been part of the Museum Arts team for one year, bringing hard work, humor, honesty, and a can-do attitude to his role in Site Maintenance.

With the belief that there should be “a place for everything and everything in its place,” Gus helps keep our facilities and daily operations running smoothly. Whether he is cleaning, repairing, driving, replacing, or tackling something unexpected, he is always ready to step in wherever he is needed. What he enjoys most about his job is the variety—no two days are ever exactly the same!

Gus was drawn to Museum Arts because of the company’s strong reputation, and he has quickly become a valued member of our team. His versatility, practical skills, and willingness to stay busy make a difference throughout our workplace every day.

Outside of work, Gus enjoys repairing small engines, camping, and creating art. A fun fact many people may not know is that he is an active artist! His favorite movie is *The Pope of Greenwich Village*, and his favorite food is Bavarian cuisine. When it comes to coffee or tea, the beach or mountains, and sweet or salty, Gus happily chooses both!

Gus describes himself as **hardworking, funny, and honest**, and we couldn’t agree more. His advice to someone beginning a similar role is simple and valuable: **“Be patient.”**

Meet the Team: Carlos Ramirez

Carlos has been part of the Museum Arts team for over 10 months, bringing technical knowledge, creativity, and an analytical eye to his role as a Mechanical Engineer.

Carlos works on the interactive and movable components that help transform exhibits into engaging, hands-on experiences. One of his favorite parts of the job is testing the interactives and making sure each feature functions properly before it reaches its final destination. His interest in museums—and appreciation for the way they bring stories and ideas to life—is what originally inspired him to join our team.

Outside of work, Carlos enjoys prototyping and developing new ideas. He is also a fan of *Citizen Kane*, enjoys visiting a favorite breakfast spot on Whidbey Island, and believes tacos can always make the day a little better! He prefers tea, is an early bird, chooses the beach over the mountains, and will usually reach for something salty.

A fun fact many people may not know about Carlos is that he was a music major in college and plays the bassoon! His unique combination of technical ability and creativity is reflected in the three words he uses to describe himself: **technologist, analytical, and adaptable.**

Carlos’s advice to someone starting in his field is: **“There is always more than one design solution for a project. Throw ideas at the wall and save things for later.”**

Meet the Team: Ernesto Munoz

For an incredible 26 years, Ernesto has been an essential part of the Museum Arts team. As our Shop Foreman, he helps keep our shop organized, productive, and moving forward. He makes sure everyone stays busy and has the tools, materials, and support they need to get the job done successfully.

What Ernesto enjoys most about his role is helping with project designs and watching ideas develop into finished experiences. He was originally drawn to Museum Arts because of the adventure each day brings—and after more than two decades, he continues to appreciate that no two projects are ever exactly alike.

Outside of work, Ernesto enjoys riding ATVs, going to the gym, working out, and spending time at the beach—even though his fun fact is that he doesn’t know how to swim! He enjoys thriller and horror movies, with *Perfume* being his all-time favorite. His favorite meal is a T-bone steak made by his wife, and when given the choice, he prefers tea, an early start to the day, and something sweet.

Friendly, spontaneous, and dedicated are the three words Ernesto uses to describe himself, and those qualities are easy to see in the experience, commitment, and positive energy he brings to Museum Arts each day.

His advice to someone beginning a similar role is simple but meaningful: **“Be consistent in your effort.”**

Today, we’re excited to introduce Bryan Graham, a talented member of our Mechanical and Electrical Engineering team at Museum Arts!

Bryan plays an important role in developing the electromechanical interactives that bring our exhibits to life. Through CAD design, engineering, and fabrication, he helps transform creative concepts into engaging, hands-on experiences that visitors can explore and enjoy.

With 13 years at Museum Arts, Bryan has contributed his knowledge and expertise to a wide variety of innovative projects. He especially enjoys that no two projects are ever the same, giving him new opportunities to problem-solve, continue learning, and create unique solutions for each exhibit.

Bryan’s experience, ingenuity, and dedication to his craft make him a valuable part of the Museum Arts team. We’re proud to highlight the talent and commitment he brings to every project!

Today, we’re excited to introduce Maritza Martinez, our Accounting Assistant at Museum Arts!

Maritza plays an important role in keeping our day-to-day financial operations running smoothly. She helps ensure every transaction is entered accurately and that our team is paid correctly and on time. Her attention to detail, organization, and dependability provide valuable support behind the scenes.

One of Maritza’s favorite parts of her role is seeing photos of completed projects and knowing she contributed to the process that helped bring them to life. She joined Museum Arts because she saw an opportunity to grow in her career, and she continues to bring a kind, honest, and thoughtful approach to her work each day.
