Nicole Wight

Nicole Wight I figure out what makes customers tick, then build the story that makes them choose you. I also blog, create and flip tables. (Like Jesus!)

Nicole is a Jersey girl living in DFW, a purple-haired product marketing leader, customer-obsessed strategist, and firm believer that the best marketing starts by understanding what makes people tick. With more than a decade of experience across SaaS, technology, accessibility, fintech, and mission-driven organizations, Nicole specializes in turning customer insight into sharp positioning, compelling messaging, and go-to-market strategies that drive real business results. She currently leads Product Marketing at Ministry Brands, helping shape how products are positioned, launched, sold, and understood across a complex portfolio of technology serving churches, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations. Her career has included work at Meta and AudioEye, where she has led everything from customer research and integrated campaigns to sales enablement, product launches, market expansion, pipeline strategy, and large-scale programs designed to create meaningful change. At Meta, she helped lead the company's first and largest internal disability self-identification campaign. Nicole's sweet spot is where customer psychology meets strategy: figuring out what people actually need, what they care about, why they choose, and how to turn those insights into a story they can't ignore. She is especially passionate about product marketing, positioning and messaging, customer research, accessibility, community, leadership, and using business as a force for good. For speaking, workshops, advisory or consulting opportunities, product marketing conversations, or the occasional spirited discussion about why your messaging probably isn't as customer-centric as you think it is, reach out.

The work I'm still proudest of didn't have a launch date.

When I was at Meta, I helped lead the company's first disability self-identification campaign. On paper it was an internal program. In reality it was thousands of people deciding whether it was safe to raise their hand and say, this is part of who I am.

That work changed how I see everything I've done since. Once you've sat with what it takes for someone to self-identify, you can't look at a UX that doesn't work with a screen reader and call it a design detail. There's a person on the other side of that flow who just wanted to do the thing everyone else gets to do.

So when people ask why accessibility keeps showing up in my marketing work, that's why. It's not a compliance line for me. It's people. It has names. In my head - I see the faces of my own children.

And yes, it's also good business. If someone can't use your product, they can't buy it. But honestly that's the second reason.

I’m excited to share that I’ll be speaking at the Healthy Church Summit in a breakout session called Fueling the Mission: Cultivating a Culture of Generosity in Your Church.

This is one of those topics I care about deeply because generosity is not really about transactions.

It is about discipleship, trust, removing unnecessary friction so people can respond faithfully and consistently, and helping churches fund the mission God has already placed in front of them.

I’ll be talking through giving trends, practical strategies, and the systems that help churches create simple pathways for generosity without making ministry leaders feel like they need twelve more hours in the day. Because, respectfully, they do not.

My goal is for church leaders to leave encouraged, clear on what matters most, and equipped with next steps they can actually use.

A healthy church = a generous church, and I’m grateful to be part of this conversation!

If you’ve ever had that deep, irrational fear that you’re somehow in trouble at work, even when everything is fine, this one is for you. I wrote about what happens when trauma shows up in your career, why some of us panic on Sunday nights for no reason at all, and how we can start retraining our hearts toward peace and safety.

It’s honest, it’s real, and I hope it meets someone right where they are today.

I wrote something that has been on my heart for a while and get asked about alot.

The question is usually "How do you reconcile Scripture with the LGBTQIA+ community?"

My new answer is: Scripture has already been doing that work long before we debated it.

Jesus acknowledged people born differently, people shaped by life in different ways, and people who chose different paths.

If the Kingdom is wide enough for them, it is wide enough for all of us.

Please share:

For a long time, people have confidently claimed that LGBTQIA+ people are not supported anywhere in Scripture. But when you actually look…
