Stir fry is a great way to use up vegetables in your fridge! Make an easy stir fry sauce using two parts soy sauce to one part rice vinegar, with a drizzle of sesame oil. For some heat, add in sriracha or sambal oelek (chili garlic sauce) to taste. The possibilities are endless!

Have you been to one of our underground dinners? We still have a few seats available for THIS Saturday, November 17 at 7:30pm!

Each of our underground dinners is a unique experience, limited to a certain number of guests so that we can focus on the quality of dishes that we serve each guest.

Saturday’s dinner will be at a “sweet” location in the Dallas Design District, to be revealed later to attendees.

Dinner will be a 4-course meal (plus bonus bites and wine pairings), and will be centered around CHOCOLATE 🍫 as a highlight in each dish. You’ll see why when we reveal the location!

To book your seats OR to get on the list for future events, email [email protected]

Don't miss out on Plate & Platter's next UNDERGROUND DINNERS!

After a successful dinner in November, we've got two more on the calendar this month with only a few spots left!

The concept, branded as "b.", will be held this Friday, January 20 and Saturday, January 21 at a soon-to-be-revealed Oak Cliff location. The menu is inspired by Spanish taps and will feature 4 courses paired with wine plus a few extra bites for the suggested donation of $100/person. Be part of the fun early on as we have big plans to grow the concept more this year! Saturday is sold out, but Friday has just a few seats left!

To RSVP or if you'd like to get on the email list for future dinners, send me a note at [email protected].

In the meantime here are a few photos from November's "Not Your Grandma's Thanksgiving" dinner. Cheers!

We had so much fun cooking with the young ladies at Our Friends Place this week! They learned a few quick knife skills and a simple, healthy dinner followed by rich chocolate souffles. Can't wait to cook with y'all again!

Our young ladies had a blast with the Junior League of Dallas, Inc. cooking class surprise this week! JLD volunteer and professional chef, Becka Brown, from Plate & Platter gave a private 3 course cooking lesson featuring salmon with mango salsa, mashed potatoes, and chocolate soufflés! Thank you for sharing preparation and cooking skills that will inspire our young ladies to make flavorful and healthy meals.
