We have some updates

To all our patients:

Hope everyone is well during this difficult time.
Just letting you know that we are now open with limited hours.
We are here every day, Tuesday through Saturday, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
If these hours are difficult for you and you need our services, just let us know and we'll make arrangements to see you.
Just know that our office is safe. We sanitize all day long. We wipe down everything after each patient.
Our staff is wearing masks and gloves. Our reception room chairs are spaced out 6 feet apart. And we are limiting the amount of people in the reception room at any one time, and we are asking everyone to wear a mask when in our office.
We are also spacing out our appointments to limit the number of people in our office.
At this time, some of you may be having financial difficulties due to Covid 19.
Please let us know and we'll make arrangements to see you.
Nobody should ever be without the eye care services that they may need.
We are keeping up to date with eye exam technology to provide you with the best possible care available.
Please don't hesitate to ask us for anything you may need, prescription copies, extra contact lenses, or whatever else.
We know back to school has been crazy this year. Every year at this time, kids are normally given a vision screening at school.
Obviously , that's not happening this year. If you have school aged children and would like us to do a vision screening for them, just call and make an appointment for the screening. There is no charge for this service.
We greatly appreciate all of our loyal patients, some of whom I have been seeing for years.

We’ve made some changes due to COVID-19

To All Our Patients;


As the world keeps getting weirder and weirder, Corona-virus cases in Dallas keep going up.
It seems like Gov. Abbott will shut us down at any minute.
The last time we were shut down we were not allowed to see patients for routine eye care.
Routine eye care was deemed "non-essential". During the two months of that shut down we were literally overwhelmed on a daily basis with emails, voice mails and text messages from patients seeking eye care services or copies of their prescription or replacement contact lenses. As the chances of another shut down loom, we are recommending to all patients that if you need eye care services, prescription copies or extra soft contact lenses please call or come in to the office ASAP. We are here Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm. As we go through another level of uncertainty we want to be here for you as best we can. We are limiting our office hours to reduce exposure. We are limiting the number of people that can be in our office at any one time. Our doctor and staff are wearing masks and gloves. The office and equipment are cleaned ans sanitized after each patient is seen. We are requiring
anyone who enters our office for any reason to wear a mask. We are also taking patients' temperatures as they enter the office. In other words, we are doing everything we possibly can to keep you and our staff safe.

Looking forward to seeing any patient who needs our services. Please stay healthy and safe.

We’ve made some changes due to COVID-19

Dear Gambino Eye Associates community,

We Hope all of our patients are well during this unsure time we are having.
We would like to inform you that we are open again however, our hours are limited.
Here at Gambino Eye Associates we are taking every precaution possible to ensure your safety. Therefore, we ask you to wear mask coming in the office to help aid in this current pandemic. As well, the staff will be wearing protective wear and all surfaces are sanitized between patients.

Our new office hours are Tues-Sat. 10-2

Unfortunately, we are not accepting walk-ins but, please call the office as one of our friendly staff members can schedule you an appointment.

Please mention this email to receive 5.00 off a comprehensive eye exam and 10.00 off if you have a contact lens fitting.

We’ve made some changes due to COVID-19

Dear Gambino Eye Associates Patient,

We are working hard to help our patients during this difficult time. Your eyes and vision is our top priority and here is how we may be able to help.

• We are able to return emails within 24 hours

• We are able to return phone messages within 48 hours

• We are extending all contact lens prescriptions for two months as needed - if we have a current exam on file. i.e. 12- 18 months

Sam's optical next door has new hours 10 Am - 2: pm daily

Update: 3/27/20 CEO of Starbucks announced that from the time they closed the Starbucks in Wuhan, China until the time it was safe to reopen took 7 weeks. In the USA we are into the 2nd week . Unfortunately this could mean another 5 more weeks before restrictions are lifted. I trust this information coming from the CEO of Starbucks (having recently experienced the crises first hand) more more than the reports coming from the media.

Which means we are talking about the first week in May before our regular business hours

Our latest news

Due to directives from the CDC our office is closed until Further Notice.

Just like everyone else, we are sheltering in place. That's the only way we can bring the virus to an end.
I understand that patients can have issues with their eyes , glasses, or contacts. Right now we can only see patients
for emergency situations. Emergencies include, a foreign body in the cornea or front of the eye, a red painful eye or
sudden flashes of light followed by lots of or huge floaters.
So lost of contacts or running out of contacts is not an emergency. In such cases I recommend that our patients wear
their eyeglasses until this crisis is over.
I know that this is a unique and trying situation for all of us as we deal with this new reality. We all have to learn to accept discomfort and inconveniences for as long as this last. The COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and your concerns
We understand the News and the COVID-19! We understand the concerns of our patients. This is a brief Letter to address your concerns.

Your health and Our Measures to protect you
WE are Keeping our schedule light so you will be seen individually (as much as possible walk-ins do occur occasionally). We are following recommendation set by the CDC. As always sanitizing after each patient and placing hand sanitizer for you to use upon your arrival and after your visit. You may see us wearing gloves during your visit, this is to protect you as we change them after each patient.
