Giving back isn't an isolated event at Amalga, it’s a core part of who we are.

Our team recently spent a meaningful day at Centro de Bienestar Animal San Pedro Garza García, a Monterrey dog and cat shelter, stepping up to care for rescue dogs and cats while they wait for their forever homes. From bath duty to long walks and well-earned playtime, it was a day rooted in compassion and service.

We want to extend a massive thank you to our executives Jens, Mike and Esli, as well as our incredible teammates who participated: Darian Garza, Erick Gomez, Jorge Gomez, Brenda Alvarez, Juan Ruiz, Luis Gallegos, Karem Pena, Luis Casillas, Alicia Espinosa, Alfredo de la Rosa, Hannia Garcia, Ilze Hernandez, and Andrea Caldera. Thank you for leading by example and demonstrating what real community engagement looks like. 💙

Every animal deserves love, safety, and a family. We're honored to play a small part in their journey.

40% of law firms miss the call that mattered most: the one that comes in after hours, when the prospect is in the most pain and ready to hire right now.

The firms fixing that problem aren't guessing it's working. They're measuring it.

Our CEO Jens Gould breaks it down: "Intake is one of the highest-leverage functions in a firm, and it's usually the least measured."

Our sense of purpose doesn't stop at the work we do every day. It shows up in our communities, too.

For the second year, Amalga joined Gemini Legal and Genesis Diez on a service trip to Rancho Genesis in Baja California, Mexico. Rancho Genesis is a safe and loving place where vulnerable children experience joy and healing through the support of volunteers and dedicated staff.

The trip is far more than a chance to serve. It's an opportunity to connect, bond and share hope with children whose journeys have not been easy.

We're grateful to Tony Daugherty for inviting our team members Ivan Solis, Jorge Perez, Shannen Albornoz and Josue Moreno to be part of this beautiful and meaningful experience.

As our teams in Mexico work alongside our U.S. teams and partners every day, we're reminded that the border connects far more than it separates. Together we have a unique opportunity and responsibility to make a lasting difference in the communities we call home.

Our team came back inspired by the children, families and community members they met, and with a deeper appreciation for service, connection and shared purpose. We hope the time together brought as much joy to the families as it did to us.

A nearshore team in Mexico is never more than an hour off Utah time. 🇲🇽⏱️

That might sound like a small detail, until you’ve tried managing a team 11 time zones ahead. An urgent question sent at 4 PM in Salt Lake City shouldn't have to wait until you wake up for an answer. For backend tasks, asynchronous work is fine. For customer-facing roles, it’s a dealbreaker.

While in-house hiring is strong, it gets expensive to scale. Local outsourcers cost more and tend to focus strictly on IT.

Nearshoring closes that gap:
✅ Time zone alignment for real-time collaboration.
✅ Agents trained in US business norms who integrate seamlessly into your workflow.
✅ Bilingual support so when a Spanish-speaking caller reaches your office, they’re greeted seamlessly in their language. No scramble, no missed leads.

Time zone, culture, and communication alignment aren't extra features. For a lot of Utah operations, they’re everything.

What we took away from CxOutsourcers Mindshare

Our CEO Jens Gould joined CX and outsourcing leaders from around the world at CxOutsourcers Mindshare 2026, and looking back, a few ideas are still shaping how we think about the industry:

✔️ EX is the foundation of CX: great customer experience starts with genuinely listening to your own teams
✔️ Great partners find friction before you ask: report the problem, then help reroute the path forward
✔️ Trust is earned by going deep, not wide: solve specific problems for specific industries
✔️ Adaptability beats perfection: great engineering in the wrong place still fails
✔️ Risk is built into strategy, constantly: not addressed as a one-time, episodic fix
✔️ AI works best as a partnership, not a replacement: outsourcing has grown from labor arbitrage into true AI + human collaboration.

Our CEO Jens Gould on the biggest revenue leak in personal injury law: it isn't lead gen. It's intake.

Only 40% of law firms answer the phone when a prospective client calls. For someone hurt, scared, and Googling from a hospital waiting room, an unanswered call isn't a missed lead, it's a $30,000 case that just called your competitor instead.

And it compounds: only 20% of callers who hit voicemail leave a message. The other 80%? Gone, with no record they ever reached out.

Firms spend more on Google Ads every year, but the return was never about lead volume. It's about answer rate.

We broke down what a dedicated legal call center actually looks like for PI firms: the intake model, what to measure, and what to look for in a partner. Full article linked in the comments.

Great things happening with the sales team!

Our Sales Manager, Erick Amador, has been working directly with the business development team on the ground: meetings with prospects, strategy sessions, and deepening ties between sales and all of Amalga's divisions.

And of course, great work deserves great food. Erick shared ceviche and tacos gobernador with Jens Gould (CEO), Michael Hengst (CFO) and Esli Lopez (Sr. Director of Delivery).

Great business, even better company. 👏
