Coming up on 10 years opioid free. After playing football for years I became a functional addict that popped painkillers like candy. I have a long list of injuries that still affect my body but it wasn’t the injuries that lead me to the pills, it was a bunch of s**t I don’t like to get into. S**t I don’t like to admit I was a addict but when you gotta pop a pill to go to social functions, family functions, to watch tv, or to go outside, you gotta call a spade a spade. I was lucky to have people around me that saw more for me and I was able to see it myself because being a walking zombie is a crazy way to live. Sharing like this makes my skin itch so I’m a go spin some circles and get some work in.
Oh oh this is definitely why I love working so much, I’m a professional overthinker, so when I can take a break from a s**t ton of thoughts I take it quick fast and in a hurry.
PS. Some notable injuries include:
A dislocated jaw and fracture in my chin that left my face partially paralyzed for a nice amount of time
2 torn acls and six knee surgeries that has me with three screws in my knees
Why do babies make you reflect so much?
