The oak tree lives on in this guitar 🎸 after providing shade for five generations that grew up and lived on the ranch. 🐄🤠

The Wild Oak Rancher has quite a story. This impressive live oak tree 🪾was estimated to be 250 years old when it died in 2010. It was over 5 ft. in diameter and 70 ft. tall and was a young sapling before the United States 🇺🇸 became a country. Growing on a ranch in central Texas it provided shade for five generations of the current owners, and others before that. Some of the wood was saved and became part of the Wild Oak Rancher guitar. Parts of the oak wood model a barbed wire style from the ranch dating back to the late 1800s and lays out the life story of its owner. From inlays in the fretboard to the headstock, k***s and cavity covers, the tree lives on today. 🎼🎵🎸

The beautiful Mount Sopris in Colorado was the inspiration for this custom fretboard inlay. 🏔️⛷️

Mother of Pearl shell was used for the mountains while Lady Sopris (in abalone shell stretches out along the foothills.🚠🎸🎼

The Lady Sopris Electric Ukulele. 🎶 Inspired by the beautiful Mount Sopris in Colorado. 🏔️⛷️.

This ukulele features a custom mother-of-pearl and abalone fretboard inlay, bookmatched figured maple top, abalone purfling, one-piece mahogany body, 5-piece curly maple and mahogany quartersawn neck, and a magnetic pickup with ebony cover.

Mount Sopris is a twin-summit mountain in the northwestern Elk Mountains range of the Rocky Mountains of North America. 🏔️🚠⛷️
