Emily, Dave & Baby Calvin are up on the blog! I first met Emily during daycare pickup at my son, Declan's daycare back in Chicago. Most parents are the quick in and out type, but my husband and I liked to chat with my son's teachers about our son and other unrelated random topics...lucky teachers ;). One day Emily started up a little conversation with us and we quickly realized we were neighbors! So from there began our play dates and baby-free power half hours. This trio is seriously the friendliest and warmest family you'll ever meet, and I'm so happy they asked me to snap some pictures of them! So we're finally settling in to Dallas and all that it has to offer. After being gone for 12 years and coming back, it's shocking how much it has grown and changed! While a piece of my heart will always be in Chicago, moving down here has finally given me the opportunity to follow my dream of focusing on photography and building a business out of what I enjoy doing. For many years I was afraid to really go for it, but now I'm ready and I'm excited!
