A customer from Halifax bought a matching leather sofa and chair 20 some years ago and really enjoyed them through the years. Last year he asked if we could update the seat foam in both units and we did. Between then and now he decided he had a new idea for his sofa.
Out came the razor knife and he went to work cutting the leather from the outside back, arms and wherever else he could get a scrap of leather.
He then went to a local woodworker and had new oak bases made up to fit the seat cushions.
For the back cushions, he knew he wanted exact dimensions for them, so after a visit, we came back to the shop with notes and ambition.
The outside back leather he cut off became the covers for the new back cushions. He asked if there was enough left over to make up some throw pillows. What was left over was literally just tiny pieces and scraps...it was that close!
Once everything was fitted, he couldn't have been happier. He said it was exactly what he wanted. We love his new sofa idea and the new look!

We've said it many times over the years..."We LOVE kids and pets... they're great for business!"
In this case, a nice Lane cedar chest from Selinsgrove was damaged by some furry friends.
While the repairs, cleaning and polishing were being done, the queen was adding the new look with D3952 from Charlotte Fabrics' Casual Linen Collection.
We love the way everything came together!

We're happy to work with our local furniture stores to do repairs for their customers. It could be anything from broken frames to faulty motors. This one is getting a new seat cushion. It came in today and will go back tomorrow. We try to keep the turnaround time as short as possible to get them back home as soon as possible.
