We would like to send out a Thank You and Congratulations to all of our members that participated in the WNY Firemen’s Convention events this past weekend.

The first event was the Waterball Competition. Our Sparta team played some great rounds and came out in 2nd place.

After that, we had multiple members participate in the Firematics Competition. These members participated with teams that took 1st and 3rd place.

Lastly, we had 16 members participate in the parade Saturday evening.
Congratulations to our department on receiving the following awards:
Best Fireman's Color Guard
Best Fireman's Marching Unit
Best Overall Fireman's Marching Unit

Thank you to all of our members that showed up Friday evening to help wash our fire trucks to prepare them for the parade on Saturday.

The fireman’s convention hosted by Dansville Fire dept had their annual efficiency tournament. A few members from sparta competed and Won 1st place. Congrats Tim Murphy and Carter Coburn and dansville members Hunter, Jimmy, and Matt.

We would like to send out a Thank You and Congratulations to all of our members that participated in this weekends Nunda Fundays Parade.

On Saturday, we had 15 members participate in the parade. Congratulations to our department on receiving the following awards:
Best Brush Truck
Best Appearing Firemen

Thank you to our members that showed up on Friday evening to wash our trucks for the parade.

We would like to send out a Thank You and Congratulations to all of our members that participated in this weekends Dogwood Festival Events.

On Friday, Sparta had 2 teams participate in the Waterball Competition. Congratulations to Sparta 1 for winning 1st place.

On Saturday, we had 18 members participate in the Dogwood Parade. Congratulations to our department on receiving the following awards:
Most Men In Line
Best Color Guard
Best Appearing Company
Grand Marshal

Thank you to all of our members that showed up Thursday evening to help wash our fire trucks to prepare them for the parade on Saturday.

We would also like to thank the Dansville Dogwood Committee for their dedication and organization of this year’s festivities!
