Our fifth year on the course! ⛳️

Family Matters was back at Callippe Preserve last week sponsoring the Pleasanton Chamber Golf Tournament for the fifth year in a row.

"I wish I could give this company 10 stars. My realtor gave me their contact information to help me pack, but apparently, they do moving, downsizing, organizing (I wish I had known this sooner!), junk haul, and estate sales. I would have used them for all of it.

The owner, Kim Falahati, came to my home to see what was what. She did it quickly, professionally (like someone who had done this before), and with care.

On the day of, the packers came to my door, asked for a tour of the things that needed to be packed, and jumped right in. Very polite and extremely professional, they were a Godsend.

Please consider this company and team if you have to do any of the above. You will be so happy with their service."

Teamwork in action! 💪

Kim and our hauling team are on site tackling both junk and donations. The junk gets hauled away, and the good stuff gets a second life with local nonprofits. 👏💜

"Going through change is hard. My parents were going through a divorce and Kim came highly recommended to help us get things packed, moved and organized during our change.

I will admit that when I first considered even entertaining the idea for someone to help I wasn't on board. Why would I pay someone to do what I needed to do and had been doing for months? I met Kim and wanted to understand what she offered.

I was impressed with the lost of things she said she could do and was even more comfortable with her as she seemed genuine. She gave us an great quote and was so organized with her network of contacts and her way of handling logistics she ran with it. She gave us a task for the remainder of the day and we met again early the next morning.

In two days we moved mountains with her Team! I realized I did need help and was so thankful for it as it made things go faster than it would have taken me and much less stressful than it could have been.

I feel that the things Kim offers support for are hard for anyone to deal with let alone admit we need some support and help from someone. I was one of those people, but am so glad that Kim was able to help us through what we were experiencing both from a moving and job perspective and from a supportive emotional point of view.

Kim is outstanding and I would highly suggest any of her services for what you may need! Thank you Kim and Team for all you did and continue to support us on!"

Today is National Senior Citizens Day! 💚

Kim’s parents are a big part of the “why” behind Family Matters. As her own parents have "seasoned", she’s experienced firsthand how overwhelming life’s transitions can be—not just for older adults, but for the entire family.

Those experiences have shaped the way we care for every family we work with: with patience, compassion, and the kind of help we’d want for our own parents.

Today we’re celebrating Kim’s parents and all the seniors in our community who have spent a lifetime teaching us, supporting us, and showing us the way.

Happy National Senior Citizens Day! 👏
