Today is National Senior Citizens Day! 💚

Kim’s parents are a big part of the “why” behind Family Matters. As her own parents have "seasoned", she’s experienced firsthand how overwhelming life’s transitions can be—not just for older adults, but for the entire family.

Those experiences have shaped the way we care for every family we work with: with patience, compassion, and the kind of help we’d want for our own parents.

Today we’re celebrating Kim’s parents and all the seniors in our community who have spent a lifetime teaching us, supporting us, and showing us the way.

"My father moved to an assisted living apartment after living in his large home for many years. Needless to say, we had a lot of "stuff" to clean out, and we wanted as much as possible to be donated rather than sent to the landfill. Kim, Shannon & crew sorted and moved everything out in a single day, including bringing many items to donation centers. They were a pleasure to work with and helped our family take care of this in a prompt, professional, and caring way."
