UNBELIEVABLE! Today I visited with an long time friend and business associate and he told me an almost unbelievable story. In 2011 (15 years ago)(when I had Zippy Print), he asked me make him an Archery Banner to go in front of his store. Banners are typically short term, temporary use marketing items designed to last a year of maybe 2 outside. As of today, that banner is still hanging in front of his store promoting the archery aspect of his business. To last that long (15 years) is unheard of. Then, he told me, they had pressure washed it several times to boot. That normally would shorten its life. But hey! things last a long time around Campbell Hardware and Sporting Goods in Robertsdale. They just celebrated 80 years in business and my friend Nelson Wingo has been there for 52 of those years. So, join me in congratulating Nelson for his long term success and having the oldest continuously displayed banner on record. Maybe, it'll go 15 more, but if it doesn't, call me at Low Tide Signs and we'll get another one made for you. And thank you Nelson and Family for supporting my business over the years.
