Thank you to Clay Smith from Edward Jones for explaining Trump Accounts, a new benefit for children born between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2028. The program provides a $1,000 pilot contribution from the U.S. Treasury and parents are able to contribute up to an additional $5,000 per year. The child gains full control of the account at age 18.

Sydney from Lad Drago State Farm Insurance Agent was our 10-minute speaker this morning. Sydney began by sharing some fun facts about State Farm, inviting everyone to join in the conversation. She also shared her journey to becoming a licensed agent, one of four in the office. Sydney can help clients write any type of policy, although she specifically enjoys helping people with specialty policies to insure expensive items and unique collections.

Nancy from Pfeffer Floors To Go was our 10-minute speaker today. Pfeffer is a three generation family-owned business and will be celebrating their 48th anniversary this summer! Pfeffer has a large showroom located in downtown Bay Minette and offers a wide selection of flooring materials, shower tile, stone and quartz countertops, and window coverings. They also employ their own labor crew, trained to install any items purchased through the store. Arlene and Ricky Pfeffer, both still actively involved in the store, were on hand to support Nancy while she gave her presentation. Ricky painted the picture shown in the frame, which hangs in the store.
