The drop zone declutter - We all have a drop@zone, near the door where every little piece of mail, shoes, keys, miscellaneous items are dropped when we walk through the door. After a very short amount of time this habit accumulates and then the clutter is overwhelming.

This busy Mom of 3 wanted a clear path when she walked in the door and add some organized systems to her home. Baby steps - Rome wasn’t built in a day. First in the list - the drop zone.

Oh, it won’t take long - wrong. There were so many miscellaneous item this little corner took 3 hours.

First we sorted through ALL of it. And it gets worse before it gets better. The goal was to get the items out of this corner and into its proper room.

After one and a half black garbage bags later and a shredder full of old mail. The corner was put back together with purpose and intention.
