In any business, it's essential to adopt a mindset of giving more than taking. While striving for success and growth is natural, I'm refocusing on the core values that built my brand: customer-centricity, exceptional craftsmanship, and community commitment. Recently, despite being overwhelmed with a shipping delay for a project in Boston, I received an urgent request from my colleagues at PFFM for 2000 decals by Friday. I prioritized their needs, worked diligently to edit the artwork, and expedited production with a trusted partner at a 50% premium for same-day service. The decals were delivered to the client on Friday morning, and although my installation started at 5 pm and I didn't return home until 9 pm, I wouldn't dream of letting a customer down. The decals were intended for the funeral of a fallen firefighter, a poignant reminder that some challenges far surpass our own. In addition to fulfilling the order, I donated an acrylic sign based on the decal design, which was displayed at the cathedral, hoping it brought solace and a moment of joy to the family. When selecting vendors, choose those who value every order, regardless of size, urgency, or frequency, and prioritize community values, social responsibility, and product pride.
