We’re now getting within range to analyze Thursday afternoon using high-resolution models. Current trends continue to show a line of thunderstorms developing late afternoon in eastern Nebraska, then pushing into western Iowa after 6 PM.

This line is expected to track east across the state and could bring strong wind gusts and hail. At this time, the greatest severe threat looks to remain west of I-35.
