Are you still working 2 to 3 jobs yet what you take home is not enough?

I ask myself…HOW? When I am just an ordinary person who have no knowledge about business? At my age, I don’t want to go back to school and study business management. I want a change of life. And true enough, I found what I was looking for. My short story will make you realize that you and I have the same thing in common in terms of wants in life.

Before I go into details, let me share with you a little about myself. My name is Benedicta and I am originally from the Philippines and I came here in the US in 2007. When I got here, I have done so many works from housekeeping, working in theme parks in extreme cold and hot weather, waiting…. I have done retail store, kitchen works and call center jobs.

I have work 2 jobs, yet whatever my take home pay is never ENOUGH,…I always end up short. Eventually, I got myself a full time job…but still I could not even save a single penny, I do not have a quality life, buy my dream house and save for retirement.

My full time job as a Flight attendant has been a cycle for 7 years, living from pay check to pay check, and for me to have extra, I have to fly more, leaving me 7 - 9 days off minimum for the month. Spending more time away from home and I told myself, why does it seem like I live to work instead of I work to live?! I deserve a better life because I am a hard working person.

I deserve a quality life where I can focus on my health, exercise and spend time with family. Travel because I am vacationing and not because I am working. This is the kind of life I know that is possible to happen.
