What an adventure for the DBC today! I found a baby bird lying on the floor just before the entrance to our building. The NC Wildlife hotline was unable to assist and I the lil guy was barely moving— probably stunned by the cold. Not knowing anything about birds or engineering a nest, I made a makeshift one out of our coffee cups and napkins, gently placed him in there, and placed the cup on our mailbox so he wouldn’t be on the ground. Luckily mama bird was able to find him and even started feeding him! At this point I figured he would need space larger than a cup, so I found a tiny box and a pair of socks and created a long term nest. I have no idea what I’m doing, but I’m glad that mama bird does and is taking care of her little one once more. Hang in there buddy!

Okay, maybe we’re having a little too much fun with one of our new features here at the DBC, but…LOOK HOW CUTE THAT UNICORN IS!! In all seriousness, we’re happy to announce that we also offer Ad Space on our lobby tv. For inquiries, feel free to drop us a line. The 2021 Davidson Giving Tree Village officially kicks off 12/02 and will go through Friday 12/10 .

We’re excited to be participating in this charitable event, sponsoring a non-profit organization that is near and dear to our hearts. After our 2016 travels to East Africa, our hearts were moved by the amazing conservation and preservation work of the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust

Davidson Business Center is proud to sponsor this impactful organization by decorating a tree in their honor. We hope that you can join us in supporting their efforts to save, protect, and conserve wildlife in Africa, by voting for our tree.
