If your oven says 375 but dinner keeps coming out half-done, that’s not something to shrug off.

With South Florida sliding into rainy season, a lot of weeknight cooking moves back inside, especially on a Thursday when everyone’s trying to get through dinner without making a whole project out of it.

Uneven heating, long preheat times, or food cooking faster on one side can point to a real oven issue that needs a proper diagnosis.

ARS Repairs helps homeowners across Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade with reliable oven repair and local appliance service that keeps things practical and straightforward.

Worth checking before the weekend meals start piling up.

Hurricane season is here. If you live in South Florida, now’s a good time to check your fridge and freezer.

Keep fridge and freezer doors closed during an outage. A full freezer can stay cold about 48 hours if unopened, and about 24 hours if half full. A refrigerator will usually keep food safe for up to 4 hours without power.

If perishable food has been above 40°F for more than 2 hours, toss it and take photos for your insurance claim.

After the storm, if your fridge or freezer won’t cool or you notice strange noises, give ARS Appliance Repair a call. We only work on kitchen and laundry appliances, and we can come out to assess refrigerator or freezer issues.

How are you prepping this week? Any neighborhood tips to share?

That puddle of cloudy water at the bottom of your dishwasher is not part of rainy season.

Early June in South Florida already brings enough heat, humidity, and afternoon storms. You don’t need a dishwasher leaving standing water in the kitchen too.

If it’s not draining, smells off, or the dishes are coming out gritty, it’s usually a sign something needs a proper look before it turns into a bigger mess.

ARS Repairs helps homeowners across Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade with reliable dishwasher repair and local appliance repair service that starts with an honest diagnosis.

Worth checking before the next full load.

Hurricane season just started. Is your fridge ready?

If the power goes out, keep fridge and freezer doors closed. A full freezer can hold for about 48 hours unopened; half-full about 24. Freeze water bottles ahead of time to help keep things cold and have emergency drinking water.

Quick check now: seals, ice maker, and temps. If your fridge, freezer, or ice maker has been acting up, give ARS Appliance Repair a call before the next storm rolls in.

Rainy-season laundry in South Florida gets old fast when your dryer needs two cycles for every load.

Between damp towels, humid air, and afternoon storms, the laundry room can feel like it never catches up.

If clothes are coming out warm but still damp, the dryer is taking longer than usual, or you notice a burning smell, it’s worth having an appliance technician take a look before it turns into a bigger problem.

ARS Repairs handles dryer repair for homeowners across Broward, Palm Beach, Miami-Dade, and nearby South Florida areas.

Sometimes catching it early is the difference between a simple repair and a much bigger headache.

Anyone else’s laundry pile seem to double the minute the rain starts?

Hurricane season kicked off yesterday, South Florida — quick fridge and freezer tips before the next storm rolls in.

Keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible. A fridge usually stays cold for about four hours if unopened. A full freezer can hold temperature for around 48 hours, and a half-full one about 24 hours.

Group frozen items together and stash a few extra bags of ice or coolers if you can. If the power blips a lot, unplug small countertop electronics to avoid surge damage. If your fridge or freezer isn’t cooling properly after the outage, call ARS Appliance Repair and we’ll see what’s going on.

What do you stock up on for storms — sandwiches, canned beans, or the classic ice chest nachos? Share your go-to prep tip.

Monday laundry hits different when the washer won’t drain.

With South Florida humidity kicking in and afternoon storms back in the routine, damp towels and weekend clothes can pile up fast.

If the washer finishes a cycle with standing water, a locked door, or clothes coming out soaked, it’s usually a sign something needs attention before the next load makes it worse.

ARS Repairs helps homeowners across Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade with washer repair and local appliance repair needs, with clear diagnostics and practical repairs.

If your laundry room is already starting the week behind, that’s a good time to have an appliance technician take a look.

Hurricane season starts today, June 1. If you live in South Florida, now is a good time for a quick fridge and freezer check.

Keep doors closed during outages to hold cold.
Fill empty freezer space with sealed water jugs to help maintain temperature.
Put a thermometer in the fridge and freezer so you know where things sit.
Wipe and inspect door gaskets for cracks or gaps — heat and humidity wear them out fast.
If your freezer took a while to recover last storm or the ice maker stopped working, bring it up now so it’s not a surprise later.

Any local tips for storm snacks or no-cook meals? Share yours below. If your fridge gives you trouble, we can come take a look before the next system moves in.

A fridge that feels a little warm on a muggy South Florida Sunday is not something to shrug off.

With the heat, humidity, weekend groceries, and kids grabbing drinks all day, refrigerators can start showing signs they’re struggling.

Maybe the milk isn’t as cold.
Maybe the freezer is frosting up.
Maybe you keep adjusting the temperature and nothing really changes.

That’s usually the point where homeowners give ARS Repairs a call.

We handle refrigerator repair across South Florida, including Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade, with careful diagnostics and honest appliance service.

Small cooling issues can turn into spoiled food fast, especially this time of year. Better to catch it before the fridge gives up completely.

Your ice maker picked a very South Florida weekend to slow down.

Hot, humid Saturday. Drinks in and out of the freezer. Family stopping by. And suddenly the ice bin is giving you five sad cubes and a weird clicking sound.

That usually points to something worth checking before it turns into a bigger freezer issue.

ARS Repairs helps homeowners across Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade with ice maker and freezer appliance repair when the little things start becoming daily annoyances.

If your ice maker is leaking, barely producing, or stopped completely, it’s probably not going to fix itself by Monday.
