The Human Powered Vehicle Team at UC Davis is a student engineering group whose goal is to design an aerodynamic and highly engineered land vehicle. Designing, fabricating, and racing a human powered vehicle is a challenging and rewarding experience for students at UC Davis. It provides an excellent opportunity for students to apply classroom knowledge to real-world applications. In addition, all

the financial planning, recruiting, organization of the club is completely done by students, so members also gain important skills in teamwork, leadership, and time management. We participate in the Human Powered Vehicle challenge, which is an annual national competition organized by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
