FLIVO has great potential as a non-invasive apoptosis imaging tool for use in drug development, study of disease, and one day, to personalize human medical treatments. Through collaborations and grants, we are developing FLIVO apoptosis tracers to be used with MRI, SPECT, and PET methods to more accurately study tumor apoptosis, cardiac ischemia, neurodegeneration, retinal degeneration, and other conditions.
