TUESDAY’S TIP | JCL Protection 🛡️
Event security is not “a couple extra people at the door.”
Labor Day weekend and fall events are here. Crowds, parking lots, alcohol, cash, and distracted staff create the exact conditions problems hide in.
The issues we see most often at Michigan events:
🚧 No clear entry/exit control
🚗 Unmonitored parking and perimeter
👤 Staff who don’t know who has authority to act
🚑 No plan for a medical call, fight, or unwanted guest
💡 Cameras and lighting that don’t cover the real gathering spots
A good event plan is built before the first guest arrives. JCL provides licensed, law-enforcement-trained officers — armed or unarmed, uniformed or plain clothes — plus a walk-through of the venue so coverage matches the property, not a guess.
If you have a festival, fundraiser, church event, private party, or business function coming up, get the security plan in place now. Last-minute coverage is possible. Last-minute planning is how gaps get missed.
