I made a little house for my sisters birthday.

She actually sent me a picture of a beautiful dollhouse that she wanted, and that’s how I got into all this!🤣.

We quickly realized that we weren’t going to just go out, and buy one.

I started following dollhouse groups, and my mind was blown🤯. I couldn’t believe the things people made. I stared making stuff & I haven’t stopped! Lol!

It’s so addictive, my middle sister has gotten into it as well! 🤣

She’s an artist, and a fellow miniaturist♥️

Not to mention the sweetest lady!

She sent me a miniature Channel purse😮‼️😍

I couldn’t love it more if it were a real life size purse!

Happy Friday friends!

It’s actually been kinda of cold & nasty here in Kentucky for the last week.
I’ve managed to take advantage of being trapped indoors & make miniature flowers 🌸

I have a small flower factory going.. lol!

The flowers and clay pots are made from paper 🤓.

I started out making the orchids, and quickly realized I was going to need more clay pots.

Thankfully, I found a free printable for the clay pots, and a tutorial on YouTube.

I added balloons to our hedge wall. It made the perfect backdrop for baby Finley’s shower.

I’ve been so busy, I forgot to share Easter photos of the miniature house!

I admit, I have kit bashed to the 9th degree here 😅. Probably not a good idea on your first house! She was super large to begin with!! Now (she) the house, is XXL

I often look @ her and think, what in the world possessed me to to this!?! LOL! It’s like someone else was doing it! 😂.

Years ago I had a chance to go see a dollhouse museum. I think I was 40. It didn’t interest me one bit! I even thought.. how dumb! 😳🤣😂. Oh how times have changed!!

I thought, old. I thought, store bought.. just tacky!

I didn’t know the craftsmanship that was involved. I didn’t know that people make modern, & all kinds.

Well, I guess the moral of this story is... never underestimate the things you think are dumb! It could be the source of your greatest work, and joy💥
