Every emergency supply has a clock.

💧 Water runs out.
🔋 Batteries die.
⛽ Fuel gets used.
🥫 Food gets consumed.
📱 Power banks need recharging.

So preparedness cannot stop at:

“Do I have it?”

Ask instead:

“What do I do when it’s gone?”

Can you replenish it?
Conserve it?

Preparedness is not about how much gear you own. It is about what you can actually do with what you have—and whether you can keep doing it when normal life is disrupted. ⏳
🔦 A flashlight is an item.
🛠️ Being able to safely light up the areas your household needs is a capability.
⚙️ Backup power, recharge options, and a plan to keep that lighting available are a system.
