I am a pediatric nurse turned stay at home mom of two, ages 7 and 3. I was looking for a part-time or drop-in preschool for our daughter Emma who just turned 3, and found that Dawsonville is missing a Mother’s Morning Out Program. I started the Dawsonville Mother's Morning Out program to promote early socialization for toddlers and children, provide a drop-in childcare service for our local area,
and to allow parents a break to complete necessary errands or rest! My home is conveniently located off Hwy 53 by Uncle Shuck’s Corn Maze. It is child-proofed and has a fenced in backyard. This is a great time to drop your kiddos off and get your hair or nails done, get a head start on your Christmas shopping, run errands, or just take a nap! Each session I offer a themed story time and craft, songs with finger plays, snack, lunch, playing outdoors, and free play time for our children to interact and socialize. Your feedback is welcomed! Suggestions for which day of the week would work best would be great, I would love to accommodate everyone's schedules as much as possible. Depending on interest, I am planning to host a Parent's Morning Out one to two times weekly, with discounts for multiple children from one family. I am happy to meet with anyone for a tour of our home and to introduce myself to your child before the event.
