Serena Leventhal has been working in the field of interior design for over twenty years. She has completed both commercial and residential projects and is comfortable working with a variety of styles. Serena has a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design from Pratt Institute, New York and a Master's of Architecture degree from Southern California Institute of Architecture, Los Angeles. Having a degree
and background in both Interior Design and Architecture gives her a well-rounded scope of the entire building process that unifies her projects from the outside to the inside. Serena has been to 42 different countries and loves to travel and experience life/design throughout the world. Her life and travels have had a strong influence on her design work. After having twins, Serena focused on the lives of Moms. She created a support group called Eventful Moms in Santa Barbara that plans events to keep moms out in the community and thriving while simultaneously promoting their businesses. As Serena’s event planning grew her Interior Design flourished throughout Los Angeles, Santa Barbara and San Diego. She focused on the family and education to promote healthy family living through better design. By focusing on how families live, she is able to prioritize, organize and optimize your living space, to create functional, beautiful living, working and learning spaces. Now, back in Dayton, Ohio, where she was born, she has taken over her grandfather’s restaurant to renovate it into an event venue. She creates her own events reminiscent of her Eventful Moms days in Santa Barbara. She loves to support others and create community. After all, we are all in this together. She has an inimitable vibe: always learning, soaking in and growing from new life experiences. She never judges and truly appreciates the differences that make all of us unique.
