This was my second session with the Bacon family, and watching their sweet little boy grow up has been such a gift!

I love when families bring along favorite items from home that their children are attached to. Not only does it help them feel grounded and regulated in a new space with a new person, but it's also just so special to capture photos of them doing their everyday favorite things. ❤️

It's learning about the relationships between people there so the candid moments you catch are even more meaningful, it's knowing which decor was handmade or passed down, knowing the story behind the first dance song, seeing the wedding day not just through a guests eyes but as the bride and groom 15 years from now, flipping through the album together - remembering all of the people and little moments that truly made the day beautiful
