Announcement:
We wanted to take a moment to address an important development regarding our contract negotiation with a HOA client in Daytona Beach.
After exhausting all resources and efforts to renew this contract, we have unfortunately been unable to reach an agreement.
The main factor that hindered our negotiations was the issue of cost. At Patrol Services of Orlando, we prioritize fair compensation for our employees, but unfortunately, this value was not given the importance it deserved by the HOA Board.
It is essential to highlight the current shortage of security officers in Florida, which necessitated an increase in our rates.
However, despite our best efforts to convey this message, the board decided to step away from negotiations and opted for an unconventional approach by involving their attorney. This unexpected turn of events was challenging for our team.
Furthermore, it came to our attention that, behind the scenes, the board and management of the HOA were actively poaching our contract team members.
They even re-hired an officer that we had terminated, for a multitude of issues. The tyrant ways of this officer poisoned the entire team.
Such tactics were not only unscrupulous but also deeply disappointing.
While we have enjoyed serving the gated community, we cannot ignore the constant abuse that our team has endured from both the community and visitors.
Although losing this contract is regrettable, we must prioritize the well-being and respect of our team members.
