A Lufthansa Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner suffered a nose landing gear collapse while parked at a gate at Frankfurt Airport (FRA) today.

The aircraft was stationary and connected to the jet bridge when the nose gear suddenly gave way, causing the nose of the aircraft to drop onto the ramp. The incident occurred before departure and is currently under investigation.

This footage captures the moment the aircraft settles onto its nose section.

As always, it is important to wait for official findings before speculating on the cause.
