Little Raccoon was a tough one.

I made a gamble on bike setup after the rain rolled in Saturday night and honestly paid for it most of the day. We made some changes after the first few sections and got things headed back in the right direction, but by then I was playing catch up. Had a rough final test with a crash, a wrong line, and a trip into a creek that I’m sure a few of us would like back.

Ended up 3rd in Pro 1 and leaving Ohio frustrated, but that’s racing. Some days you execute, some days you learn.

The bright side is our Kawasaki crew continues to show up. Josh put together another great ride for 2nd Overall, Grant had the speed to win and was right there early, and the entire Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Red Bear Racing Kawasaki team continues to prove we’re one of the strongest programs in off-road racing.

Big thanks to the Little Raccoon Motorcycle Club. That was a true 100-mile National Enduro and I know how much work went into making it happen, especially with all the weather they dealt with this week.

We’ll regroup and get ready for the next one.
