This AMS combo model 39VRM was dropping multiple items per transaction at the beautiful Ridgeway State Park in Colorado.

Diagnostics indicated a likely drop sensor issue, so both drop sensor boards were replaced and all problems went away.

In this video, I reduce almost 3 hours of work down to less than three minutes. During the service call (which was completed over two trips on different days), I had to mitigate rust, coat the soda machine floor with FlexSeal, and reinstall a remanufactured refrigeration deck to get this machine cooling again.

There are all kinds of little tricks along the way that a good technician knows to give life and longevity back to your vending machine that are impossible to show in a short video. However, rest assured that if you hire Vendors Tech to work on your vending machines, they will be made to work like new or better when we are done.

So many technicians and operators cut corners and do this job the cheap way, but if everything is done correctly, you will go from a 2 to 3 year life expectancy out of a new system like this to 10+ years.

OptoBlkd errors on American Changer green and yellow stripe hoppers are usually due to physical blockages of the optical window used to count coins paid out of the hopper, and are not ge really due to hardware defects. Physical blockages can be rectified in the field, and do not require the hopper to be sent off for repair, or considered defective.

Unfortunately, torque on the square and true installation of the CPI Talos bill validator can affect its performance dramatically. They are not as forgiving as prior models, and you cannot put them in confined spaces with doors and other components causing stress or pressure on the housing as it will interrupt light patterns and prevent the unit from working.

No Chinese-made vending product has ever retained value over 5-10 years.

There isn't a Chinese-made vending product ever sold into the United States that wasn't completely worthless in 10 years.

Smart coolers have lots of downsides, but any smart cooler made in China is probably one of the worst investments historically speaking that you could possibly make. Stick with traditional U.S.-made vending machines!
