Here's a little FYI

Altitude significantly impacts the performance of capillary electrochemical sensors. As altitude increases, the atmospheric pressure decreases, which can lead to several effects on sensor functionality:

Reduced Gas Concentration

At higher altitudes, the lower pressure results in a decrease in the concentration of gases available for detection. This can lead to inaccurate readings, as sensors calibrated at sea level may not respond correctly to the reduced gas availability
Altered Diffusion Rates

The diffusion of gases into the sensor is affected by the pressure differential. With lower atmospheric pressure, the driving force for gas molecules to enter the sensor is reduced, potentially leading to lower current outputs and diminished sensor sensitivity
Calibration Challenges

Sensors typically calibrated at sea level may require recalibration for accurate readings at higher altitudes. Failure to adjust for these changes can result in significant measurement errors
