DSSI HAVEN IS ROLLING OUT - AND WE’RE LOOKING FOR ORGANIZATIONS TO JOIN US.

Discreet Security Services & Investigations is launching the first trainings for DSSI HAVEN — Heightened Awareness & Violence Emergency Navigation, our crisis response and violence preparedness system.
Built around Awareness, Survival, Response, Recovery, and Leadership, HAVEN brings together experience from law enforcement, fire and rescue, emergency medicine, executive protection, and professional security. Our goal is straightforward: give people practical knowledge, sound decision-making skills, and the confidence to act when an emergency threatens their safety.
HOST A HAVEN TRAINING AT NO COST
We are seeking businesses, schools, houses of worship, nonprofits, community groups, and other organizations to participate in our initial rollout.
Participating organizations will receive HAVEN training at no cost in exchange for honest, constructive feedback from their leadership and participants. We will require travel funds if required. Your feedback will help us refine the instruction, exercises, and overall experience.
Training topics include:
* Recognizing concerning behavior and warning signs.
* Making protective decisions during active threats and other emergencies.
* Understanding evacuation, securing in place, and protective options.
* Communicating with emergency responders.
* Responding to life-threatening bleeding.
* Planning for accountability, recovery, and organizational leadership.
These sessions are an opportunity to strengthen your organization’s readiness while helping shape a program designed to teach skills that can save lives.
INAUGURAL HAVEN INSTRUCTOR CLASS — EARLY 2027
We will also host our first HAVEN Instructor Academy in early 2027, preparing the inaugural group of instructors to bring this training to more organizations and communities.
The academy will include:
* HAVEN instructor development, including program delivery, practical exercises, and instructor evaluations.
* opportunity to become a STOP THE BLEED® , CPR/AED instructor.
