For those of you who might not know, I’m taking my background, experience and qualifications on a new venture. I’m running for Macon County Clerk. As someone who has been involved in local government for over 40 years I feel this is a natural step. Unfortunately to run for office it takes a lot of work and money. I’m having a fundraiser next week, on my birthday, and if anyone would care to attend or just donate to my campaign you can simply mail a check to the address on the form or scan the QR Code and donate that way. Enjoyed attending the Township Officials of Macon County meeting at Hickory Point Township. The main speakers were Sean Richardson from TOIRMA and a presentation by the Illinois Raptor Center. Both were very informative and interesting. Nice to see several old friends from across the county.
