A delivery comes in during a busy afternoon.
Boxes are stacked temporarily in a hallway. Just for the day. Maybe overnight.
One of them ends up in front of a fire extinguisher.
No one notices. No one means to block it.
Weeks go by.
The extinguisher is still there.
Just harder to reach.
Just slightly out of sight.
During a routine visit, it’s pointed out.
The response is almost always the same.
“Oh. I didn’t even realize that was there.”
Nothing bad happened.
But if something had, seconds would have mattered.
This is how fire safety gaps usually form.
Not through neglect. Through normal workdays.
That’s why routine checks exist.
