This is more than a throwback... What a blast from the past!
Cashman's Club south of Defiance on St. Rt. 111. Their BBQ is still legendary! Thanks so much to Scott Olson and his dad (who took the photo) for letting me share this with all of you. A truly awesome photo!

Another Monday, another THROWBACK! Does anyone remember the 400 block of Clinton Street looking like this? Not me! This is the block where The State Bank and Trust Company is now. Thanks to Tim Brown for sharing this excellent old photo.

We haven't had a throwback in a while, so how about a little trivia challenge to flex your local history muscle? Pictured is the Defiance Post Office before our current post office building was built in 1914. This building is still standing. What business is there now?

I had the pleasure of assisting Mary and Julia of Arthur Law Firm Co LPA. in re-styling their deposition room. They chose a series of pictures of the Defiance county court house as it has progressed through the years, starting with the first court house at the corners of Wayne and 2nd streets. I like the touch of gravitas it adds to the space, which works well in this purpose-driven setting. I can't wait to see the room when it's finished!
