🚨 TRANSPORT HELP NEEDED – Tomorrow MONTGOMERY, AL ➡️ FORT WALTON, FL 🚨

We are urgently looking for transport help for a German Shepherd so he can come into rescue and start a new life filled with love.

📍 Pickup: Montgomery, Alabama - Tomorrow around noon
📍 Destination: Fort Walton Beach, Florida

This sweet shepherd just needs a freedom ride so rescue can take over. Even partial legs of the trip would help tremendously if we can build a transport chain.

Thank you, Steven Long for all of the hard work gathering towels and sheets from our junk cars for me to take to Panhandle Animal Welfare in Fort Walton Beach and Walton County Animal Shelter in DeFuniak Springs Florida. The animals will be so thankful as well!!!!

Update ~ Radiographs show Bubba is riddled with pellets from having been shot. His hind end lameness is an old injury probably having been hit by a car. 😓 This boy is a survivor and we are so relieved he is safe tonight. He is spending the night hospitalized. Thank you for your support of Bubba. 🙏

His new name is Bubba and he has been safely scooped up off the reservation and is currently receiving medical care funded by PACK. He is in worse shape than when first spotted and we are very anxiously awaiting a call from the vet to understand everything this poor has been through and what sort of help he needs. Bubba has porcupine quills embedded in his face, probably from some time ago, and he has a pretty significant limp on his hind left leg that will be xrayed. Those are the obvious concerns, we'll know more soon about anything else that shows up under exam. We are so grateful for the opportunity to help this old rez dog's soul and we are beyond grateful to each and every one of you who have donated to his case or shared his story. We could not do this part without you and this dog deserves all the love and kindness coming his way from the West side tonight.🥹
