Introducing Aaren Dorsey, MS
Clinical Case Manager & Therapeutic Coach
I have a deep passion for helping individuals and families grow in meaningful, sustainable ways. As a wife and mother, being able to spend quality time with my family is so important to me. Whether in personal life or professional, trust and connection matter most!
Over the past 20+ years, I’ve worked at the intersection of mental health, professional development, and leadership. I have experience working with individuals with a broad range of backgrounds and diagnosis. I have helped people with mental health diagnosis such as severe depressive disorder, anxiety disorders, schizoaffective, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and substance abuse issues. Additionally, working with people with PTSD has been a constant throughout my professional life. I am enthusiastic in helping individuals be able to find effective coping strategies, and process emotions, to deal with past traumas and find fulfillment in their lives. I am passionate about supporting people as they navigate change, strengthen relationships, and reach their goals.
My style is highly collaborative and personalized, focusing on navigating life situations that meet each client’s unique needs. Previously I held a position as a corporate learning and development trainer in high performing cultures. This role enabled me to further understand different communication and personality styles and be able to adapt and teach others how to integrate with other’s styles to be successful in personal and professional settings.
Earlier in my career, I held leadership and counseling roles in faith-based, nonprofit, and residential treatment settings. Across these roles, I managed teams, facilitated group and individual counseling, and 1:1 coaching, all while keeping people at the center of the work.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology. At my core, I’m driven by a belief in individual potential, inclusive environments, and the power of intentional development.
