Ready to up your game in dog sport photography with in-person learning? 📸🐶

I'm honored to be hosting an in-person workshop for ISAP - International Society of Animal Photographers next month. Join me for "Dog Sport Photography 101" on Saturday, May 24th at Flint Creek Dogs Inc. in Antioch, IL for a full-day, hands-on workshop with real canine athlete models who will show us their chops in multiple dog sports!

This workshop will help you:
✅ Understand camera settings for indoor and outdoor action
✅ Experience being ringside for dog sports including agility, dock diving, disc, scentwork, and possibly more
✅ Practice techniques of capturing high-speed motion with direct coaching from me, an award-winning dog sport photographer

Good luck to all of the competitors at EOTT this weekend! I love to livestream big events when I can't be there, and it's always a fun game to think about where I might sit if I were photographing each course.

Here's an example - the thin circle is where I might sit and the highlighted obstacles are some shot possibilities. So much handling in that middle section, including the weaves, opens up a ton of options! I love engaging in discussions with my coaching students about spot-picking as well, this is such an underrated skill in agility photography.

🚨 HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT! Barking Dog Photography Coaching is now Fetching Focus Academy! 🚨

When I started offering coaching at the end of 2022, I didn't have a name for it. I whipped up a logo and a website last winter, and have enjoyed helping many other photographers reach their goals this year through my coaching business. 🥰

I have always enjoyed being an educator (fun fact: my first job was as a snowboard instructor) and I want to help YOU skip the frustrating trial and error that I experienced growing my skills. I am super excited about the new website, including a community feature with private coaching threads and online courses! 😍

After the craziness of covering three back-to-back national events this fall, I am finally coming up for air and hoping to release new free resources and podcasts soon!

Throughout all of that, I have still been doing regular virtual coaching calls! I have streamlined the booking process on my website, so if you have been meaning to work with me, now is a good time. 😍

I have also added an option for a Monthly Coaching Membership! The subscription is $150/month and includes 180 minutes of virtual calls to use as you wish. If you don't use them all, they roll over. Cancel at any time. I am only accepting 4 monthly students at this time! 😱
