Thank you to everyone who has done business with me through the years. With your support, Delaware Sealcoat grew from a small utility trailer startup to a full size rig and operation able to service just about any size business. Many goals were achieved that were just dreams and ideas that first year and it was all due to you.

After careful consideration, I’ve decided to close the business and focus on health and family. The page will remain open while I finalize things. Thank you for years of friendships and referrals that grew through this experience. I appreciate each and every one of you.

Educational post time:

This is a local Delaware, Ohio driveway that got sealed by a someone in late, late fall as they made repairs to the home in prep for renting. It hadn’t ever been sealed so it was in dire need, however they did this when temperatures were too low for proper curing. It has been 4-5 months since it got seal and this is why we have to be mindful of this in Ohio, because as you can see, most of the seal is already gone and the house is vacant so it can’t be attributed to traffic. I believe it was sealed in November or December on one of those ‘warm’ days we get sometimes.

If you are a DIYer like we are in my family, then this is a great thing to be aware of so you can save some money and time by preventing the double work.

Happy New Year! Thanks to you we were able to give back $1,000 to local charities. We split that between Veteran Companion Animal Services AND the Common Ground Free Store Ministries right here in Delaware. We know it’s small but also know the amount of work to earn that amount and how far it will go for those organizations. The $500 to VCAS will allow for 7 weeks of dog training for the veteran group. $500 to Common Froind will help a lot to support meals and other support.

Speaking from first hand experience, animals go so far for veterans and for anyone else in so many facets of needs. Be it anywhere from disability services to military transition and everything in between, animals are a gift. It was hard to decide who to share funds with but we trust the organizations will continue to do the great things they do.

We apologize for being hard to reach. This should get easier as we expand hiring in 2022. (Keep an eye out for those open positions when they get posted! We’ll need the help.)

This is a difficult time for the veteran and military community. We honor the fallen Marines and sailor and also offer our prayers up for them and their families.

It’s a tumultuous time in Afghanistan and it’s reminiscent of ISIL in Iraq. These are heavy things when you’ve once dedicated a part of your life at risk of life and limb in service to others in these places.

We pause to honor the sacrifices of service members everywhere.
