A very successful consult grow. This was a small 2ft x 2ft tent with a quality 100w LED that yielded almost 5.5oz 1.5g/watt. Usually, you can expect about 1g/watt with a good light and optimal conditions so this was an above average harvest for such a small grow. There are several factors that contribute to a successful harvest with a high yield per square foot.
First and foremost is Genetics. You’ll want to do your research when buying seeds and make sure they come from a reputable breeder with a good track record. You could have the best growing equipment on the market but if your genetics are mediocre then so will your harvest.
Another factor is the light you grow with. There are countless lights out there and some are definitely better than others. A quality 100w light will yield more than a cheap 300w light. So if you’re going to drop money on one thing, spend it on a good light.
This particular Migro100 COB LED has been discontinued and replaced with the Migro Array 150w but they are both quality lights you can expect great results from. My favorite light manufacturer is Horticulture Lighting Group so definitely check them out.
