The 2026 Indiana Bacon Festival is officially in the books, and we couldn’t have asked for a better day in Delphi.

To everyone who came out, grabbed some bacon, listened to live music, supported our vendors, brought the family, and helped fill downtown with festival fun... thank you for being part of it.

A huge thank you also goes to our incredible sponsors, vendors, volunteers, entertainers, community partners, and everyone working behind the scenes. An event like this takes a whole lot of people to make happen, and we’re incredibly grateful for every one of you.

We hope you left with a full stomach, some great memories, and maybe just a little more bacon than you planned. 🥓

Town of Camden Update

🚨 Power Outage Update #2 🚨
Duke Energy crews have been working around the clock to restore power following the transmission pole damage that caused the outage. We’re pleased to share that crews are now replacing the final high-voltage transmission pole needed to complete repairs. The original wooden poles have been upgraded to steel.
At this time, the estimated restoration time is no later than 10:00 p.m. today.
We know this outage has been difficult for many residents, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding while crews work safely and as quickly as possible to restore service.

🚨 Power Outage Update 🚨

Duke Energy’s current outage is the result of three broken high-voltage transmission poles. Crews worked through the night and will continue today to replace the damaged poles before power can be restored.

Duke Energy expects power restoration today, with exact restoration times available later this morning at: Outage Map - Duke Energy

We understand this is an inconvenience and appreciate everyone's patience as crews work to safely complete the necessary repairs.

Carroll County Chamber of Commerce names Calin Smith Executive Director

On behalf of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, we are pleased to announce Calin Smith as its new executive director, effective August 1, 2026.

In this role, Calin will lead the Chamber's operations, membership development, advocacy, programs and strategic partnerships. She will work closely with the Chamber's board of directors, members and community partners to support local businesses and help promote growth throughout Carroll County.

"I am excited to serve the businesses and professionals who contribute so much to our community," said Smith. "I look forward to listening to our members, building meaningful partnerships and help businesses connect, grow and succeed."
