Today, members of the Delran Fire Department proudly participated in the Delanco Memorial Day Parade to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 🇺🇸

This evening Delran Fire Department responded to the area of St. Mihiel Drive and Main Street for a motor vehicle vs. train accident. Arriving units deemed everyone to be out of the vehicle and began assessing those on the train. With the assistance of multiple mutual aid EMS organizations, Cinnaminson Fire Department fire police units, Delran Township Police Department, Burlington County Central Communications, Riverside Police Department and NJ Transit Police units, crews were able to quickly and efficiently tend to those that needed assistance and es**rt them off the train to awaiting EMS crews, so they could be transported if necessary. The roadway and railway was soon after reopened to normal traffic and transit functions.

Tonight around 8 PM, Delran Fire Department responded to an animal rescue after 2 year old cat Zoomie became trapped in a storm drain.
Zoomie was originally located two weeks ago by a neighborhood dog named Mozzie, who tonight once again alerted owners to her location. After approximately 40 minutes, firefighters were able to safely rescue Zoomie from the drain.
Great work by our crews and special thanks to Mozz for helping save the day!

This past Sunday, members of the Fire Department proudly stood along Route 130 to cheer on and support the Police Unity Tour as it rode through Delran Township.

The Police Unity Tour raises public awareness for law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty while honoring their service and sacrifice.

We are proud to stand alongside our law enforcement partners and support such a meaningful cause. Great job to all who participated and helped make the event a success!

At approximately 5:00 PM this evening, the Delran Fire Department responded to reports of a dwelling fire in The Grande. Upon arrival, crews encountered fire showing from an attached garage.

Additional units assisted in quickly bringing the fire under control and extinguishing it.

We thank all mutual aid agencies for their assistance on scene.

No matter what the storm may bring, be sure to be prepared well in advance! The DFD will have crews on standby starting in the afternoon hours and throughout the storm!

Any emergencies be sure to call into 9-1-1 for proper call intake and dispersement.

Please do not go out unless you have to during the height of the storm!
